Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas received wide critical acclaim and sold well on all platforms for which it was released. According to review aggregator website Metacritic, the game was the fifth-highest-rated release for the PlayStation 2. With over 17.33 million copies of the game sold for the PlayStation 2, it is the console's best-selling game. As of 2011, the game has sold 27.5 million copies worldwide. Like previous entries in the GTA series, San Andreas was highly controversial for its violent and sexual content. The game was briefly re-rated in 2005 by the Entertainment Software Rating Board as "Adults Only" after a player-made software patch, dubbed the "Hot Coffee mod", unlocked a previously hidden sexual minigame. Subsequent re-releases removed the content and retained the game's original "Mature" rating.

Before being used within InPage, the Noori style of Nastaliq, which was first created as a digital typeface (font) in 1981 through the collaboration of Mirza Ahmad Jamil TI (as calligrapher) and Monotype Imaging (formerly Monotype Corp.), suffered from two problems in the 1990s: a) its non-availability on standard platforms such as Windows or Mac, and b) the non-WYSIWYG nature of text entry, whereby the document had to be created by commands in Monotype's proprietary page description language.

Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) is an antivirus software (AV) prodmalware such as computer viruses, spyware, rootkits and Trojan horses. It runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista andWindows 7, but not on Windows 8, which has a built-in AV component. The license agreement allows home users and small businesses to install and use the product free of charge. It replaces Windows Live OneCare, a discontinued commercial subscription-based AV service, and the free Windows Defender, which until Windows 8 only protected users from adware and spyware.

In October 1996, Macromedia decided to create a new web page editing tool. Kevin Lynch led the effort, spending several months assembling a small team and talking with web designers about the challenges they faced building web sites with the current set of tools. Based on this customer insight, Kevin wrote a document called the "19 Dreams," a collection of stories about what an ideal web editing tool would do. These dreams served as the vision for the tool, and the project was subsequently codenamed "Dreamweaver."
